The Feel Good Folk Philosophy

The Feel Good Folk is for men who have a sneaking suspicion that there’s more to life than this. For men who suspect they’re not quite the best version of themselves but don't know where to start.

We combine transformative coaching, evidence based interventions, and accountability tools to help men become the best version of themselves. Unlike other approaches, we take a holistic approach to men's wellbeing to truly make lasting change.

Our Philosophy is based on three principles that are each necessary but not individually sufficient to achieving wellbeing. They are:

Be Happy

Be Healthy
Be Useful

Be Happy

  • Loneliness, anxiety and depression are at an all time high

  • Suicide is the number one killer of men under the age of 50

  • Only 10% of the UK population are engaged at work

We work with men to identify sources of joy in their lives and find ways to make those more present. We build habits around gratitude, mindfulness and resilience to brace ourselves against the pressures of the outside world.

Be Healthy

  • 1 in 3 men are not active enough for good health

  • Ultra processed foods are leading to poor health outcomes

  • Sedentary lifestyles are leaving us with low energy and unnecessary physical ailments at younger ages

Too many men are making compromises with their diets, exercise routines and sleep habits that are affecting them mentally and physically. We break down these unhealthy habits and help our clients find ways to look after their bodies so that they can be active and healthy for themselves, and their families.

Be Useful

  • Research shows that those who volunteer are happier

  • Living a life with purpose is more fulfilling

  • Positive male role models challenge negative stereotypes

Are you happy with how you are you showing up on the world? We work with men to ensure they can answer that question with conviction, by knowing what they stand for and what legacy they want to leave as a husband, father, friend, and member of their community.
