About Tim
Having struggled for many years to feel like he was living the right life, Tim founded The Feel Good Folk to help other men find the best version of themselves.

He spent his early career trying to find happiness where he was told it would be; by going to uni, getting that first job, climbing the ladder, and trusting that the rest would take care of itself. Like so many men though, the reality was quite different.

By his early thirties he was overweight, unhappy, dissatisfied with work, a sub-par husband and father, and wondering what the point of it all was.

Alcohol became the way to deal with not having answers to any of the big questions, and the inner addict that was shaped from childhood experiences rose to the surface, halting any chance at self betterment.
After hitting his rock bottom, he began his recovery journey, which included years of self reflection and introspection to truly understand who he was. A huge part of that was removing unhealthy male stereotypes and beliefs about what it is to be a man, that had lead to poor mental and physical health and ultimately, addiction.

This work lead him to launch The Feel Good Folk, to share with other men the pillars that have changed his life so that they might also become the best version of themselves;

Be Happy
Be Healthy
Be Useful
